RUN FOR WILDLIFE - LEMUR 5K VIRTUAL CHALLENGE!

Every one of our Run for Wildlife events has a unique animal theme to help raise awareness. It also provide us with our design ideas for the medal and t-shirt.

Say hello to the incredible Lemurs...our featured animal for this 5k challenge! 

Three species of Lemurs can be found at The Yorkshire Wildlife Park, The Ring Tailed Lemur, Crowned Lemur and the Red Bellied Lemur!

Lemurs are primates found only on the African island of Madagascar and some tiny neighboring islands. Because of its geographic isolation, Madagascar is home to many amazing animals found nowhere else on Earth... they're not monkeys though (although they are a little cheeky!)

The Run for Wildlife events support the WildLife Foundation, the charity of the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
